Empowering the Next Generation Through AI and Robotics Innovation

The International Robot Olympiad (IRO) is more than a competition—it's a global movement empowering youth to explore the future of technology through hands-on robotics, coding, and AI. From imaginative early learners to advanced young engineers, students collaborate, create, and compete in a dynamic, real-world environment where innovation meets impact. Guided by STEM principles and a passion for problem-solving, IRO inspires tomorrow’s tech leaders to build intelligent solutions that make a difference.

What is the International Robot Olympiad?

The International Robot Olympiad is a global competition where students collaborate to find solutions through AI-driven robotics. Participants are challenged to design, build, and program intelligent robots capable of solving complex, real-world problems. The Olympiad combines AI, robotics, and STEM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with creativity and problem-solving skills. Teams are evaluated based on innovation, technical skill, and their robots’ ability to make autonomous decisions, showcasing the potential of AI to transform various fields.

Year of Community: Come Together. Build Together. Create Together.

The 2025–2026 AI Robotics Competition embraces the Year of Community, highlighting the importance of unity, collaboration, and shared purpose. This theme inspires participants to move beyond individual achievement and discover the strength of collective innovation. Students will work together to design, build, and program robots that address real-world challenges, reflecting how communities can solve problems when they unite their skills and creativity.

Through teamwork, mentorship, and global collaboration, participants will learn that innovation is not just about technology—it’s about people coming together to build solutions that matter. By coming together, building together, and creating together, we foster a spirit of inclusivity, creativity, and shared responsibility for shaping a better future.
